Kim won a seat on the WJCC School board in 2021, and serves as a voice of reason and experience on our school board.
Prior to retirement, she taught 36 years, 35 of them as a kindergarten teacher, and 26 of them in WJCC Schools.
She served as President of the WJCC Education Association for four terms.
She works with teens to encourage them to become teachers.
Kim is married to Vincent Hundley, a CTE teacher at Hornsby Middle School. Her son Cameron attends Virginia Peninsula Community College and her daughter Ty is an ICU nurse at Riverside Doctors Hospital, Williamsburg.
Kim is a founding member and serves on the board of the Historic Triangle chapter of Coming to the Table, a racial reconciliation group, and the Virginia Racial Healing Institute. She is also a member of All Together.
